How to Tie a Tie: Double Windsor
The best video on the web to show you how to tie a necktie. This is an example of a double windsor
knot
The
first thing to do when tying a necktie is to put the tie around your neck with long end in your favorite hand. I am right
handed, and so I put it in my right hand.
Step2
Cross the long end over the short end. Leave
about a half a foot on the short end.
Step3
Push the long end through the hole between your neck and the tie. Pull
it all the way through.
Step4
Take the long end around the back of your tie and then through the same whole the opposite way.
Step5
Bring
the tie back out of the whole on the same side it was on. Wrap the tie around the front of the knot and then trough the whole
between your neck an the tie. (the same direction as the first time)
Step6
Pull the long end through the tunnel created
by going around the front of the tie. Now you are done tying your necktie. To learn how to tie other neckties, visit other
