It’s Almost Necktie Day – Our Superbowl

‘It's that time of year again’ we say with cheerful glee at mynicetie.com. Why, you ask? Well, you could say that October 18th is one of the most formal days of the year – and one of the most important for us. For those who don't know, October 18th is Necktie Day, and at mynicetie.com, few things can make us happier than a widespread celebration of one of the coolest fashion icons in all of human history.

The necktie is a staple of men's fashion, and while millions of hard-working men wear neckties every single day, we like to think of Necktie Day as a chance where you can take your tie game to the next level.

In our minds, we think Necktie Day should be like a gladiatorial match for everyone who fancies wearing a tie. It's a known fact that those who celebrate Necktie Day wake up extra early to peruse through their tie collection – in order to pick the perfect tie that will impress and slay the moment they walk into the office. Compliments will be flying left and right as people are dazzled by the daring fashion choices.

Needless to say, there will always be an awesome bunch of people who will take Necktie Day seriously. For the rest of us, sometimes myself included – you can argue that every day is Necktie Day for me – there are many new ties, knot styles and brands that will be flooding the market, as well as many different ways that you can celebrate.

Up until Necktie Day, we will be working overtime to make sure we get everything in line before the rush hits. We really look forward to seeing you, and inviting you to be part of the action – especially if you're going to put your best gladiatorial foot forward and challenge your colleagues in the office to a game of, ‘Who Has The Best Tie’.

If you're wearing a tie at all, you're probably a winner anyway – but that may be my bias talking. Feel free to let me know if you have a special type picked out for the big day. I love hearing about all the new designs people are getting into. Thank you so much for taking the time to read as always. It is a pleasure to connect with everyone who has been a part of our adventure, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
